Create a strong username/login id and password/security code.
Use unique usernames and passwords - passwords should be at least 10 characters long, include uppercase, lowercase, special characters and numbers. Do not use names, birthdates, anniversary dates or any other personal information. Use randomly created or passphrases if possible. (passphrases are nonsense sentences. i.e. DogsyellowsQuidsclouDs!49)
Create a different password for each website or app - do NOT use the same one for multiple sites or apps.
Don't store them where others can find them.
Alerts
Take advantage of the alerts in online & mobile banking. There are account, security and transaction alerts available to turn on.
